Aimee has been my trainer for years, and there is a reason for that. I joke “body by Aimee” but there is a lot of truth to it. I do the work, but Aimee gives the guidance. She also adjusts smartly when I’m injured or tired, and when I have a specific goal she knows just what to do to help. Aimee is also “age appropriate” meaning that as I get older she has adjusted the workouts to ensure long term physical health, with a lot more stability and core work, for example. On top of all that, she is simply a pleasant woman to be around. Bottom line: I’d recommend Aimee to anyone interested in a quality coach who cares about them.

I’ve been a client of Aimee Barnas for 11 years. Not only has she been a pleasure to train with and very smart (a Notre Dame grad) but she is very knowledgeable in the exercises she gives me and how they relate to the needs of my 73 y/o 5’ tall body. Having had back and hip surgery prior to meeting her, today I’m able to lift my heavy suitcase into the overhead bin on planes and whip them off the conveyer belt as I run for a taxi. In moments when I may have occasional pain, her Master’s in Kinesiology plus her knowledge in Muscle Activation Techniques lends her the ability thru either manipulation or exercise, to eliminate it. She takes our work seriously, is never distracted and keeps me on task.
Best of all, Aimee cares about her clients in a very authentic and heart-felt way and this, including all that I’ve shared, should give you an idea of how much I value her as my trainer.

One of the best post-retirement decisions that I ever made was to prioritize my health and fitness needs. Aimee Barnas keeps me on track and provides a variety of exercises to build my strength, agility, endurance, and core functioning. Gratitude.

Aimee was essential to my post-operative recovery from three hip surgeries. With her help I accomplished several of the goals that my Physical Therapist pointed me towards. Thanks, Aimee!
